Cybernetik’s Firewood Packaging Line is CE certified packaging automation that removed a crucial delay-causing bottleneck by integrating a cooling tunnel to lower the temperature of freshly extruded logs. This allowed the system to start packing operations without interruptions. The setup also improved the speed, hygiene, and integrity of packing.
A pneumatic dropper properly orients the firewood logs arriving from the cooling tunnel. Next, a sawing station of the firewood packaging line cuts kindle wafers into the logs to simplify ignition. A dust collector extracts the sawdust generated by sawing. A conveyor tracking system enables the downstream pick and place robots to form as- needed log bundles that are then strapped. Addition of downstream bagging, palletizer, or stretch wrapper units makes this an end-to-end packaging automation line.
