Cybernetik’s Cartridge Filling & Measuring System is ammunition manufacturing automation for the assembly of 30 mm high explosive cartridges used by infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), aircraft cannons, and naval & air defence systems. The automation delivers quality and safety crucial in defence production systems. Multiple stations with differing automation levels ensure optimal productivity while fixtures and servos deliver accuracy.
Three distinct zones make up this ammunition manufacturing automation. Zone 1 includes the primer installation and intrusion-protrusion gauging, stabbing, and optional auto resistance check stations. Zone 2 addresses propellant filling-checking, shell and cartridge pressing, and crimping for high explosive cartridge assembly. Zone 3 consists of the pellet and fuse insertion and checking stations. An optional final resistance check station ensures improved quality control for this defence production system.

- Quality Control: SCADA for data track and trace, laser sensors for intrusion-protrusion gauging, and multiple inspection stations for primer tightening and stabbing, propellant weighing, pellet depth, shell height, and round weighing.
